Painting, on European paper, varnished, depicting a Kandyan ruler, wearing a headdress, surmounted by peacock feathers, he wears a long flowered coat, a deep collar, and striped trousers with a diamond-diaper in red and black on a white ground. Beside him stand two attendants clad in figured white cotton skirtcloths and round caps, one of whom holds a circular sun fan, and the other a wind-screen. The background is red.
