Painting in tempera on prepared cloth, depicting the Jagannath Triad. Vishnu in the form of Jagannath is shown on the right, with his brother Balabhadra and their sister Subhadra. Their curious stylised form represents the simple wooden images of the deities as they are housed in the Jagannath temple at Puri, Orissa.
