Painting, opaque watercolour on paper, illustration to the Bhagavata Purana: Krishna is shown pulling the tongue of the yellow, spotted snake demon Aghasura, who had lured the cow-herds into its mouth and swallowed them. Krishna forced the demon to release the cows and cow-herds, who are seen on the left of the picture. The text relating to the episode is written underneath in Devanagari script.
