Painting, in opaque watercolour and gold on paper, a nobleman, possibly Maharaja Bhim Singh of Jodhpur, riding in the company of an escort. The Maharaja alone is mounted and rides to the right; he wears a flowered orange robe and scarlet turban. The horse is white with scarlet-dyed legs; the escort of ten followers carry the insignia of the Raja, and spears.
