Yawyin Woman

Half-length figure of a Yawyin woman carrying her baby; she is in three quarter back view and looks over her left shoulder. She wears a large blue turban, silver earrings and necklace, and a yellowish brown tunic with black sleeves. The baby is asleep, wears a dark red hat and brown clothes, and is tied to its mother with a white cloth. Framed in a narrow black frame covered with zinc on the back and bearing a blue and white label. See Marks/Subjects
