Japanese painter, printmaker, born 1936

Yokoo embraced a pop art aesthetic in Japan during the 1960s, designing posters, books covers, and illustrations for corporations. Since the 1980s he has painted in an abstracted figurative style, and has collaborated with the fashion designer Issey Miyake.
