Sapper, Richard
German industrial designer, 1932-2015, active in Milan
The influential industrial designer worked on a wide variety of products including kitchen appliances, electronics, furniture, and cars. He received many international design awards: the Raymond Loewy Foundation's Lucky Strike award and ten Compasso d’Oro awards. His products became part of the permanent collections of many museums, notably MoMA in New York and London's Victoria & Albert Museum.
