American painter, born 1968
Painter and gallerist lives in Vienna, Austria. He has presented more than 30 solo gallery shows since 1993. He has also produced more than 30 exhibitions of other artists’ work since opening Galerie Ruyter in Vienna in 2003, and he is a cofounder of Team Gallery in New York. Collaborative work with other artists remains a high priority. He began his career known as Lisa Ruyter but later transitioned to Francis.
