Painting, in opaque watercolour and gold on paper, portrait of a Rajasthani princess looking out of a window, she faces to the left and points with her right hand to her mouth. She wears an orange muslin sari powdered with gold rosettes and bordered in gold, and heavy strings of pearls. The mount is decorated with a border of scrolling arabesque design in gold on a silver ground. The outer mount is stained red and yellow.
