Painting, in opaque watercolour and gold on paper, depicting a prince on a moonlit terrace, reclining on a bed, awaiting his bride. The bride is being coaxed forward by two ladies; to the right is a pavilion whose door is being closed by another attendant. Across the river are the walls of a white fortress upon the opposite bank. Some details are unfinished.
