Jade, diamonds, gold; The Cleveland Museum of Art, The India Early Minshall Collection 1966.478.b This stamp moistener in the form of a green tomato is carved out of a single piece of jade. The stem, tipped by a diamond mounted in gold, is removable. The interior end of this stem holds the brush that is used to wet a stamp for letters.
