Horse, 1600s. China, Qing dynasty (1644-1911). Jade; overall: 3.4 cm (1 5/16 in.). The Cleveland Museum of Art, Anonymous Gift 1952.480 The white jade surface of the horse has been brightly polished, but portions of the original stone's "skin" remain on the base and below the head.
