Lacquered wood with polychromy; overall: 132.1 x 124.5 cm (52 x 49 in.). The Cleveland Museum of Art, Purchase from the J. H. Wade Fund 1938.9 This extraordinary sculpture was probably a drum stand for supporting a suspended drum in ritual ceremonies.
