The noble Thera Sthūlabhadra of the Gautama gotra had those two wise Theras as disciples: Noble Thera Mahāgiri of the Elāvatsa gotra, Noble Thera Suhastin of the Vāsiṣṭha gotra. Moreover, thanks to the Thera Chaluka Rohagupta of the Kauśika gotra the Trairāśika branch was created. Besides, thanks to the Theras Uttara and Balissaha the Uttarabalissaha gaṇa was created.
